Why a new pressure washer hose leaks at the connection
A leak at a newly installed hose often means the sealing surfaces have not met correctly. Stop the washer and release pressure before inspecting the joint.
What to do
- Check the exact machine and hose model or part numbers.
- For M22, compare the inner 14 mm or 15 mm seal size on both ends.
- Inspect the O-ring and sealing surface for damage or missing parts.
- Confirm that both ends are fully seated and that any adapter is the specified part.
